08/20/2011...the wedding of Renee & Art.
The wedding, which was a vow renewal for year 13 , was at Honeymoon Island....with the rain we all moved to the "yellow house on stilts" AKA the bathroom. The opening between with a beautiful view and family & friends it didn't matter where we were. You could easily tell that these were people that loved life and each other. The wedding was small, beautiful & full of love! Just as the ceremony was ending the rain stopped & a double rainbow came out.
We went down to the waters edge to take some pictures. The sun's rays trying to shine through the clouds was as if God was trying to put his touch on the day. Then it was off to Outpost Island for a delicious dinner & wedding cake.. The house band played all kinds of music that rocked the table. Dancing & singing from all.
I am so glad that I was part of this celebration - it was one of the best weddings I have ever been to. Mostly due to the over abundance of love & joy...and that was not just from the bride & groom but from everyone there! I know that some of the people I meet will be life long friends!
Congratulations Renee & Art and may a double rainbow be forever above you!!!
